Brown Bag Forums
Bring your lunch and join us for special topics on health, wellness, parenting, special interests. Guest Speakers have included: John DeHaven on "Spruce Up Your Landscaping"; Dr. Thomas Mitchell DDS on "What to do with those Pearly Whites!"; the Findlay Police Department on "Self Defense"; and Mrs. Barbara Lindemood on "Frank Lloyd Wright". Free but you must preregister. This program is held on a monthly basis.
Y Knit & Y Quilt for Adults
If you are interested in learning how to knit or how to quilt - Join us! If you are interested in a group setting of knitters or quilters working on their own projects - Join us! Several times a year the groups will do a special project. Past projects have been: Knitting - baby sweaters to give to charity; dishcloths, hats, & more. Quilting - table runners, wall hangings, lap quilts, full size quilts for bed.
Y Road trips
Come with us and enjoy places near and far. Day trips for those of all ages. Trips have included: Mud Hen’s Baseball Game, Christmas Shopping; Tea Party, Glass Blowing Demo’s and lots more. Look for fliers at the YMCA or on our calendar!
Scrap-booking
Each week we will put together six 12”x12” pages and learn paper-shaping or a stamping technique. Kits include all the card stock, paper, ink and embellishments you will need. You supply 12” paper trimmer, scissors and adhesive.
